CEO SLEEPOUT

I recently took on the challenge of creating a film for CEO Sleepout, a charity dedicated to raising awareness about homelessness. With no external support and a shoestring budget, I wore multiple hats as the camera operator, director, producer, and editor for the project. My motivation was simple—to contribute to the cause and shed light on the struggles faced by the homeless.

In an effort to better understand the issue, I decided to personally experience a night of sleeping outside at Leeds United Football Stadium. The relentless rain made it a challenging and sleep-deprived night, providing me with a firsthand perspective on the harsh conditions faced by those without shelter.

CEO Sleepout organizes events across the UK, urging CEOs to fundraise and spend a night on the streets to gain insight into the realities of homelessness. In this case, the event unfolded at Leeds United FC's Elland Road stadium. Despite the lack of resources, my film aimed to authentically capture the essence of this initiative, emphasizing the importance of addressing homelessness without any embellishments.
